Grometing...

On Sunday I received a text message from my boss Ammon asking me to put in some extra hours this week. The reason was so that I could gromet. Grometing is when you put holes into a blanket or plastic sheet of some kind, then add a metal ring around the hole so you can hang that blanket up.

Yesterday I gromet 30 blankets. There were four gromets on each side of the blanket. 480 gromets were done by me. I would have felt like I accomplished something amazing but by the time I was done my poor little hands were still in the shape of holding the hammer I used to nail the gromets in. Last night around 10:30 they finally went back to their normal shape. The only reason I cried myself to sleep was because I have to do 50 more blankets today. I guess it's cool if my hand are shaped like I am holding a hammer for the rest of my life. It'll be easier to get people to do things for me because they will feel so bad, or they will just be scared by the shape of my hands...
